Business Development Manager
Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities to drive company growth and increase revenue. They play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to expand the company’s customer base and enter new markets
Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and industry trends. Analyzing market data to develop strategies that capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
International Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential international clients and partners through market research, networking, and lead generation techniques. - Business Planning and Strategy: Developing and implementing business plans and strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. Identifying target markets, setting sales targets, and creating action plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to penetrate international markets and meet revenue goals.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively identifying and prospecting potential clients and partners through various channels, including cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms. Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Client Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders to foster loyalty and repeat business. Understanding clients’ needs and requirements, providing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proposal Development and Negotiation: Collaborating with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients. Leading negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing agreements to secure new business opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. Providing insights and recommendations to improve products, services, and customer experiences.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitoring sales performance, analyzing sales data, and generating regular reports to track progress and provide actionable insights. Making data-driven recommendations for sales and business development strategies.
- Industry Knowledge and Networking: Staying up to date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies. Actively participating in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the professional network and identify potential partnerships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Required 4 years experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in business development, with a focus on international markets.
- Strong understanding of international business practices, cultures, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in English and
